The Radius BZ1 is the long-duration, high-output companion to the Ventis Pro5. It's designed for unattended area deployment — fence-lines, perimeter monitoring around an active spill or construction zone, and long-duration confined-space watchstanding. SafeCore modules let a plant pre-calibrate spares on DSX docking stations and rotate them through monitors without taking the instrument out of service. Industrial Scientific lists a water-and-wastewater-specific sensor configuration; LENS Wireless mesh extends coverage up to 1.5 km, so a plant or remote pumping station can be instrumented without running fixed wiring.
Nova stocks the Radius BZ1 alongside its SafeCore module ecosystem and DSX docking infrastructure. A typical utility deployment pairs Radius units for area coverage with Ventis Pro5 personal monitors for crews — both connected on the same LENS Wireless mesh so the personal monitors inherit alarms from the area units.
