Everactive builds the only self-powered wireless vibration sensor designed for plant-wide deployment without batteries or wiring. The Machine Vibration Monitor 2.0 harvests its operating energy from thermal differentials (≥15 °F across the housing), indoor solar (≥66 lux), or outdoor solar — and reports continuously over the company's sub-GHz Evernet 2.0 mesh. Nova distributes Everactive sensors, gateways, and the associated cloud subscription as a packaged condition-monitoring solution.
The Machine Vibration Monitor 2.0 was engineered to remove the single biggest deployment barrier to plant-wide vibration monitoring: batteries. Every other wireless sensor on the market requires battery swaps on a 1–5 year cadence, which makes “instrument every motor” economically impossible at fleet scale. Everactive’s energy-harvesting approach changes that calculus — once installed, a sensor reports continuously until the equipment it’s monitoring is decommissioned.
